SPRUCE CLIFF

A renovation where we refreshed a dated condo and gutted it to make it more functional and updated. A big part of this was the entryway and kitchen. The entry was blocked off and felt closed in, by opening it up and creating a more open space allowed us to arch the entry into the hallway to create some softness. We squared off the kitchen and created a more functional space for the client with custom millwork that also incorporated a built-in pantry, a space with open shelving for a coffee bar area, an integrated hood fan with a beautiful plaster detail, and a stunning new island that allowed for more storage and seating.

The home had some architectural details that we updated by squaring the columns off and removing the base to make them a little more transitional. The custom millwork in the living room now creates a more functional area, works as a great home office area and makes better use of that space. The fireplace was clad in a gorgeous dark stone tile to create impact and help ground the space. The furniture is a mix of modern and transitional pieces along with some of the clients passed down antique pieces to create a warm and comforting vibe. A showcase of how we love to mix the old and new.
